I still have not been to the doctor yet. I am supposed to have a consultation next week at a hospital here to discuss having a VBAC. We will go from there when we find out what they say. Well, I've been feeling so tired still, and in a different way from my other pregnancies. Like usually when I need to eat I get this intense feeling and I just have to eat and then I'm fine. But lately I've been feeling unwell when I need to eat, and at different times. Like light headed or something, and feeling like I need to lay down and that's all I can do. Anyways, I've been in touch with a midwife that my friend goes to and so today I went with her to her appointment. (There are two of them she sees and they are so nice. One or both might attend me as a doula if that works out for them in their schedule come due date time. They are strong believers and so sweet and sensitive to the Lord, it's been a blessing talking with them and then meeting them today). So, I saw them today and they were going to check my iron but their little machine thing broke right before we got there. But there are other signs that indicate low iron and they were confidant enough that I needed to take a suppletment. So I'm taking liquid iron and chrolophly. I hope it helps.
I also got to hear our baby's heartbeat today for the first time. There is something about hearing that sound when you can't see or feel the baby yet. I am just starting to feel a tiny bit of movement, but it's ever so subtle. So, it was neat to hear the heartbeat today.

That's great that you were able to hear the heartbeat! I love that! It's my favorite part of my visits, too. I'm starting to feel my little peanut a bit, as well, but just every once in awhile. I didn't feel Maddox very early, either. Which hospital are you considering delivering at? I delivered Maddox at Providence Portland and had a great experience. This time I'm doing Willamette Falls in Oregon City with their mid-wives. So far I've liked the 2 that I've met. We really do need to get together some time! Would you enjoy bringing the boys down for a visit some time? I'd love to have you down for lunch or something! We're also doing a play group at our church once a month (3rd Thursday from 10am-12) that you'd be more than welcome to come to. I know it's quite a drive down here from your neck of the woods, though. Any way, I'd love to catch up. Did you hear that Jackie's engaged? She's getting married in February. We'll both be huge! :-)
That is so great that you are going to have a doula and she is a Christian. My friend had one who was a Christian and they prayed together through the whole birth.
